How it works
- Paste your text. A chapter, an article, an email — anything readable as plain words.
- Choose a narrator. The free natural narrator handles long reads; the premium studio voice is richer but spends credits, so save it for short pieces.
- Add a memo (optional). An uploaded recording comes back as written text.
- Press Read it aloud. The Playback tab opens and fills in when the audio is ready.
Long pieces read best in sections — paste one chapter, listen, then paste the next.
Questions
How long can the story be?
There is no hard line, but a few thousand words at a time keeps the wait short and the file small. Split books by chapter.
Can I change the reading speed?
Yes — the player in the Playback tab uses your browser's own audio controls, which include a speed setting on most devices.
Can I keep the audio?
Each finished narration comes with a download link beside the player, so you can save it and listen offline.
What happens to my voice memo?
It is transcribed once and the written text is shown under the narration. Nothing is published anywhere.
